Position Summary: The IT Auditor is responsible for conducting comprehensive reviews of our organization’s IT infrastructure, systems, and processes to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies. This role involves evaluating the effectiveness of our IT controls, identifying risks related to information assets, and providing recommendations to enhance our IT environment’s security, integrity, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed evaluations and internal audits of IT infrastructure, systems, and processes according to industry best practices and organizational policies.
  • Identify vulnerabilities, inefficiencies, and non-compliance issues in IT systems and processes.
  • Develop audit plans and conduct audits to assess controls, operational efficiencies, and compliance with selected policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Document audit findings, prepare audit reports, and present findings to senior management.
  • Recommend improvements to the IT infrastructure, systems, and practices.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and IT teams to facilitate auditing processes.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of corrective actions in response to audit findings.
  • Stay informed of emerging IT trends and audit techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in IT audit, IT security, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of IT audit methodologies, IT frameworks
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various departments and levels of management.
